Bibian Blue
Corsetry · Garment Construction · Wet-moulded Leather · Laser-cut Materials · Experimental Textile Techniques

At Bibian Blue I worked on corsetry and costume pieces, including the Deco Noir collection — designing 3D mirror corsets made with laser-cut pieces and developing prints inspired by art deco.
The work ranged from moulded leather bodices to editorial pieces, combining traditional corsetry techniques with laser cutting and digital processes. This experience included corsetry, garment construction, wet-moulded leather, laser-cut materials, rigid and flexible surfaces, and experimental textile and material techniques.
The material and construction techniques I developed at Bibian Blue became an important foundation for my later work in theatrical costume production, particularly in understanding how conventional and unconventional materials can be shaped, structured and adapted around the body and for performance.
