MaYART

Multidisciplinary Artist & Creative Strategist

Maya Segarra Terrazas in her studio with arms raised, surrounded by materials and work-in-progress

I work across art, materials, product and experience design, combining hands-on making with strategic thinking to create objects, environments, systems and shared experiences.

My practice moves between textiles, material experimentation, fashion, performance, sound, community and digital experiences. Across these contexts, I am interested in transformation: how materials, systems and human interactions can be reimagined into meaningful experiences.

One practice, different media

Transformation connects every scale of the work.

01MaterialTextiles, leather, garments and objects.
02ExperienceSpace, performance and interaction.
03CommunityParticipatory projects and cultural exchange.
04SystemsProduct thinking, operations and platforms.
