Scope

Handbag design · Accessories · Prints & patterns · Material research · Colour development · Technical sheets · Artwork preparation · Sampling · Production

My work across Lonbali and Desigual focused on the development of handbags, accessories and graphic applications for fashion products.

I worked across different stages of the design process, from initial concepts, colour and material research to prints, technical specifications, sampling and production development.

The projects required translating visual ideas into objects that could actually be manufactured, balancing aesthetics, material behaviour, construction, functionality and brand identity.

This experience strengthened my understanding of the relationship between two-dimensional graphic design and three-dimensional product development, particularly how colour, print, surface and construction can transform the identity of an object.

From Surface to Object

A recurring part of the process involved translating graphics and textile patterns into physical products, testing how an image changes when it is folded, stitched, scaled and applied to a three-dimensional object.
