Music and sound have also become an important part of my practice. Under the name May Illusion, I explore voice, guitar and songwriting as a form of personal expression, while also developing an interest in sound design and the emotional potential of sound within artistic and performative contexts.
What began as a personal practice has grown into live performances and collaborations, often connected to the communities and spaces around the artist exchange programme.
